Obituary of Joanne Platt

Joanne "Peach" Platt passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 in Washougal. Born on March 14, 1949 in Vancouver, Washington, Joanne was 57 years old. A graduate from Camas High School, Joanne lived her entire life in the Camas-Washougal area, and worked as a homemaker. She is survived by her mother Joan Troxel, sisters Judy Lamssies, Linda (Allen) Thagon, brother Jerry Troxel, daughters Traci (Platt) Hansen, and Teresa Platt, and son Todd (Renee) Platt, and grandchildren Kayla Moralas and Zachery Raymond. The family gives a special thanks and love to Vickie Armstrong, Cheryl Wilkes, and Dorene Smith. She will be missed by so many people and special friends. Joanne had been in pain for so long, but we know she is in a better place. Viewing is at Brown's Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25th from 10-5 PM. There will be a private family remembrance at a later date. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
