Lola Tennant Heiner passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on June 5, 1919 in Ripon, California, Lola was 87 years old.
A Clark County resident since 1987, Lola worked as a clerk in the drug store industry. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers, taking care of her pets, making her homemade chicken noodle and dumplings, her witty sayings, and raising her family. She was also a member of The Pioneers of Alaska.
Lola is survived by her daughters Luanne Cottle of Camas, WA, and Cheryl Day of Washougal, WA, sons Lawrence E. Heiner of Anacortes, WA, David Heiner of Camas, WA, and Norman Heiner of Anacortes, WA, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Lawrence Raymond Heiner in 1985.
There will be a graveside service for Lola on Thursday, March 8th at 3:00 pm at Bow Cemetery in Bow, Washington. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 7th from 10-5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Memorials in Lola's memory may be made to SW Washington Humane Society.
