My heart is so sad. Steve was such a great person to know ... from our days at Washougal High School, to both of us living in Seattle and then back to the Camas/Washougal area. Lunch with he, me and Bob Kunselman - what good memories! I will keep your family - and Steve - in my thoughts and prayers. ~Teri~

To Steve's family, my heartfelt condolences. You know what a kind spirit he was. But more importantly to you Steve, you were a friend of mine whose love and life I will carry in my heart forever. You were one of those first who welcomed me into a new community so many years ago, but, then, not so long ago. My love to you always buddy. God's blessings and grace on you.

Steve spent a lot of his time with me where he worked at the employment office helping me find a job. I spent more time there just joking around with him and remembering the good ol' days at WHS than finding me a job. He will certainly be missed by all of his friends.

Dear Corrine - I am so sorry that you have lost your beloved Steve. Actually, it's hard for me to comprehend the immensity of it. In the 45 years that I have known you (or known of you at least) you modeled an admirable balance between determination and wisdom that enabled you to reinvent a good life when you had to. I took some valuable lessons from that. I just wish you weren't leading this particular life-lesson. So here's to the loyalty of life-long friends, "the sisterhood" if you will. If I can offer support in any way, please call me. I'll be there in a heartbeat. Love, Susie

Corrine: We offer our condolences. Bob worked with Steve for several years with the PIC. We remember with fondness our day out on the Columbia with you both on your Bayliner. We believe that it helped make our decision to get our own boat. Bob & Penny
