Anita Lucille Moffatt passed away on March 7, 2007 in Vancouver. Born on August 29, 1924 in Granton, Wisconsin, Anita was 82 years old.
A graduate of Portland State University where she earned her Master's Degree, Anita worked as a school teacher in the Vancouver School District prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Washington Education Association, the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of The Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, flower and vegetable gardening, and spending time with her family and her two Schnauzers Connie and Boe.
Anita is survived by her son Gerald of Vancouver, brother Kenneth Froehlich of Owosso, Michigan, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service took place on March 13th at the First Evangelical Church. Vault interment was at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Memorials in Anita's memory may be made to Doernbecher's Hospital: PO Box 4100 Portland, OR 97208-9908.
