Ronald Wayne Williams passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Born on July 24, 1935 in Yakima, Washington to Glen and Eunice (Maranich) Williams; Ronald was 75 years old.
A Camas resident for the last six months, Ronald previously lived the last 40 years in Kirkland, Washington. He worked as a plumber for Boeing Incorporated until his retirement. Growing up Ronald was an All-State quarterback in high school and was the Prom King his senior year. He became a little league and Babe Ruth coach and won three city championships during his managing career. Ronald enjoyed gold dredging, motorcycles, and most importantly being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Ronald is survived by his son Keith (Katie) Williams of Camas; daughter Stacie Massey of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over forty-seven years Joy Williams in 2009, and his sister Patricia Williams.
There will be no public service per Ronald's request. Memorials in Ronald's honor may be sent to the American Diabetes Association. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
