Obituary of Betty Hudson

Betty Loraine "Betty Lou" Hudson passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Born on August 30, 1926 to Holly Philip and Lila (Bossmeyer) Flanery; Betty Lou was 84 years old. A Camas resident for the last three years, Betty Lou previously lived in Vancouver, Depot Bay, Oregon, Montana, and Saudi Arabia. She was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas, and enjoyed traveling, going on safaris, and her two little dogs. Most of all, Betty Lou will be remembered for her love for her family and her Lord. Betty Lou is survived by her son Steve (Cookie) Hudson of Waikoloa, Hawaii; first husband William R. Hudson Jr. of Mt. Vernon, Washington; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her second husband Glenn Korber in 2008. There will be no public services at Betty Lou's request. Memorials in her honor may be sent to the Southwest Washington Humane Society. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
