Obituary of Forrest Harris

Forrest Wayne Harris peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at his home in Washougal, Washingotn. Born on March 12, 1921 in Robinson, Illinois to Chester H. and Edith (Steele) Harris; Forrest was 90 years old.
A Washougal resident for the last 20 years; Forrest was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked as a tool and die maker in the aeronautical industry for Boeing Incorporated of Seattle. He was a member of the American Legion Cape Horn Post #122 of Washougal, and enjoyed wood carving, fishing, and socializing.
Forrest is survived by his daughter Joyce Wycoff of California; sister in law Wanda Harris; six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lucille Harris in 2008.
A celebration of Forrest's life will be held at a later date. Vault interment was held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
