Obituary of Isabel Ritchey

Isabel Ritchey returned to her Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on February 14, 1918 in Peck, Idaho to William and Rosa (Uhri) Harness; Isabel was 94 years old. A Camas-Washougal resident for the last 91 years, Isabel was a graduate of Camas High School in 1936. She was a member of Calvary Community Church in Camas and owner of Ritchey's Dahlias in Washougal. At one time she had the most varieties of dahlias in the Northwest. She will forever be remembered for the love she had for her family and her Lord. Isabel is survived by her loving children Bill Ritchey of Washougal, Bob (Heidi) Ritchey of Lacey, Washington, Sharlene Gable of Washougal, Darlene (Pat) Dolan of Washougal, Judy (Rex) Miller of Centerville, Washington, and Nancy (Gary) Hoak of Washougal; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Paul Ritchey in 1976; grandson Douglas Ritchey and all of her brothers and sisters. There will be a celebration of Isabel's life on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Calvary Community Church: 2717 NE 3rd Avenue Camas, WA 98607. Private vault interment will be held at the Camas Cemetery. The family would like to honor the memory of Isabel by having donations sent to Calvary Community Church Children's Camp Scholarship Fund: 2717 NE 3rd Avenue Camas, WA 98607. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
