Obituary of Caitlin Shaw

Caitlin Summer Shaw went back to her Lord on July 1, 2007. Born on November 28, 1996 in Longview, Caitlin was ten years old. A lifetime Kelso resident, Caitlin was a member of the Kelso Soccer Club and attended Barnes Elementary School and East Hills Alliance Church in Kelso. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, swimming, drawing, playing soccer and basketball, listening to music, being active in school events, and anything that had to do with horses. Caitlin is survived by her parents Clifford "Jay" and Jennifer Shaw, brothers Patrick and Matthew Shaw, grandparents Jay and Jean Shaw and Larry Knaub all of Woodland, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Caitlin on Friday, July 13th at 7:00 pm at Barnes Elementary School in Kelso. Caitlin will live on through her family and friends, and through the lives of those who already have received her organs which she unselfishly donated. Donations in Caitlin's memory may be made to the Caitlin Shaw Memorial Fund: 1405 Burcham St. Kelso, WA 98626 which will be distributed to the Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank and the Legacy Emmanuel Pediatric I.C.U. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
