Obituary of Marci Bystry

Marci S. Bystry peacefully passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011 at her home in Washougal, Washington after a brave fight from complications of esophageal cancer. Born on May 7, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Alex and Bess (Kravitz) Lennett; Marci was 63 years old. A three year Washougal resident; Marci was a former resident of Orange, California. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Washougal, worked as a clerk in retail sales. Marci enjoyed line dancing, karaoke with her family, taking care of her goats, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Marci is survived her loving husband of thirty years Tom at home; daughter Stacy (Dustin) Hawley of Paradise, California; son Ryan Bystry of Vancouver; sisters Lois (Ed) Mayhew of Temecula, California, and Joy (Mike) Martin of Port Orchard, Washington; and two grandchildren. There will be a celebration of Marci's life on Tuesday, August 23rd at 7:00 pm at The Salvation Army Church: 1612 "I" Street, Washougal, WA 98671 360.835.3171.
