"Enjoy ParadiseYou Deserve It!" Carl was born April 22, 1966 in Pineville, Louisiana and passed away on August 21, 2011 by drowning in the Columbia River in Portland, Oregon. Carl is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tami, 2 children, Donovan age 21 and Evani age 18. He is also survived by his parents Alton and Geraldine La Cour of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Elton (Shirley) La Cour of Louisiana, Darren La Cour of Texas and Alton La Cour III of NM. Carl liked wakeboarding, golfing, riding quads, skiing and loved traveling most of all. Sunshine and beaches made him happy. Everyone who knew him knew his great love for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Carl graduated from Sandia High School in 1984 and relocated his family to the Pacific Northwest in December 1995. Carl was an entrepreneur and was the owner of a successful home improvement company which his family will continue to run. Carl was taken from us too soon. His memory will be celebrated through his family. He will be forever loved and missed. There will be a celebration of Carl's life on Saturday, September 3rd at Grace Foursquare Church: 717 SE Everett Road; Camas, WA 98607.
