Mary Jeanette White peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Assurety Foster Care Home in Vancouver. Born on October 25, 1919 in Chandlerville, Illinois to John and Margaret (Wieber) Vollmers; Mary was 91 years old.
A 25 year resident of Washougal; Mary was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary is survived by her son David (Linda) White of Washougal; two grandchildren; and one grand-daughter-in-law. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Theodore "Ted" White in 2008, and one brother and one sister.
There will be a celebration of Mary's life at Willamette National Cemetery at a later date. Interment will follow at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
