Obituary of Rochelle Eyvonne Mattila

Rochelle Eyvonne Mattila passed away on January 26, 2015. She was 78 years old. Rochelle was born on September 23, 1936 to her parents Garland and Chrystel Clemmer in Camas, Washington. She worked at Crown Zellerbach for 30 years in the Bag Factory, and besides a few years of her childhood spent in Red Bluff, California, she was a lifetime resident of Camas. She was a former member of A.W.P.P.W local #5. Rochelle was a member of the New Life Christian Center of Vancouver, and enjoyed helping the church decorate for all holidays. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, and lovingly prepared many delicious meals. Rochelle also spent many years sponsoring children in underdeveloped nations. Rochelle leaves behind her Husband of 59 years (60 years on April 28th of this year), Allen, at home in Camas; her daughter Lori Aragon of Vancouver; two sons: Allen Mattila and David Mattila; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Chrystel Arnold. Services for Rochelle will take place at New Life Christian Center, February 14 at 1 PM. Those who wish may make a contribution in Rochelle’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Fund.
