Obituary of Aldon Earle Peterson

Aldon Earle Peterson passed away on February 24, 2015 in Garden City, Idaho. He was 87 years old.
Aldon was born to his parents Edwin and Anna Peterson in Fargo, North Dakota. He served in the U.S Navy, gradated with his Bachelor’s Degree from University of Puget Sound, Tacoma and graduated with his Master’s Degree from Washington State University. He worked and retired from Crown Zellerbach in Camas as a Chemist. Aldon was a former Washougal School Board member, as well as a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church. He was a sports fan and especially enjoyed U. of W baseball.
Aldon is survived by his son Curtis (wife Amy) of Mercer Island, Washington; daughter Michelle (husband Maynard) Spell of Boise, Idaho; 5 grandchildren and his sister Ardis Howell, of Everett, Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife Magdelyna Peterson in 2007.
A graveside service will take place Friday, March 6 at Washougal Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 AM, with a Celebration of Life ceremony at Gateway Community Church in Washougal at 1:00 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas.
