Obituary of Lola Joyce Callihan

Lola Joyce Callihan went to be with her Lord on May 22, 2015. She was 75 years old.
Lola was born on August 20, 1939 to her parents Everett and Freda Chinn in Fair Dealing, Missouri. She had 9 siblings. A lifetime resident of Clark County, Lola became a Christian with the Vancouver Christian Church (VCC), and later joined Living Hope Church. She was a member of the quilting society, and enjoyed crochet and sewing as well. Lola was a Master Gardener for Clark County, and had a green thumb. She loved cooking meals for her family, and traveling. She worked as a Long Haul Trucker for many years, but as also a part of a Hospice Team with her daughter. Her family would like to thank the nurses that helped them all through her final days with love and compassion.
Lola is survived by her daughter DeAnna and son Terry of Vancouver, she was “Aunty Mom” to her niece Sherry, sisters Lucy and Lillie, as well as 8 grandchildren: Jason, Michael, Scotty, Christian, Kyle, Nicole, Haleigh and Danielle, and her great-granddaughter Tenacey Rayn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Lucas, and her daughter Luella.
A celebration of Lola’s life will take place Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11 AM at Living Hope Community Church in Vancouver.
