Obituary of Marlys Engel Milne

Marlys Engel Milne passed away September 2, 2015. She was 80 years old. Marlys was born on June 19, 1935 to her parents William and Mildred Roeske, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She spent her working life as a registered nurse, and was a 3 year member of Vancouver, formerly of Reno, Nevada. Marlys was a member of the First Baptist Church of Medford; she loved her family, cooking, and reading Southern poetry. Marlys is survived by her son, Ken Milne of Medford, Oregon; her daughters Jane Houston of Auburn, CA and Carol Bonafede of Camas, WA; as well as 4 grandchildren, and her sister Carole Stiles. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon Milne, sister Joanie McBride and brother Vernon Roeske. No services are scheduled at this time. Marlys will be interred at Goleta Cemetery in Santa Barbara, CA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home.
