Jan W.G. Vanderspek passed away on November 2, 2015. He was 85 years old.
Jan was born to his parents Gerhard and Anna Vanderspek on August 17, 1930 in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Jan was the owner of a carpet store, and was a resident of Vancouver for the past 3 years. He was a member of the Ft. Vancouver Lions Club, as well as Tebela Lodge AF&AM of Eugene, Oregon.
Jan is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Gleasman, his two daughters: Jackie Smith and Kris Wilde, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and his brother Hans Vanderspek. Jan was preceded in death by his parents, his son Penn and his sister Annamieke.
