Obituary of Margaret Esther Hill

Margaret Esther Hill, a long time resident of Vancouver, WA, passed away on March 25, 2016, at the age of 99 yrs and 5 months. She was born on October 29, 1916 to Edgar and Victoria Anhoury of Portland, OR. She married Donald Hill and they settled in Vancouver, WA. They had one son, Gregory. Margaret spent most of her life working as a secretary for various companies, and later retired after many years at Clark PUD. Margaret was happiest when spending time with family and friends and enjoyed card games, especially poker, trips to the casino with the senior citizens, bean bag softball at the Bedford, winning most pool games, and was an avid tennis fan. She rests in heaven now and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Victoria Anhoury, one sister, Mary Mitchell, and four brothers, Max, Oscar, Ferdinand and Emil Anhoury. Margaret is survived by her son, Gregory (Lynn) Hill, of Camas, WA; three grandchildren, Jeremy Hill of Seattle, WA, Michael (Denna) Hill of Battleground, WA, Victoria (Jason) Lyman of Fayetteville, PA, two step grandchildren, Jill (Mark) Carroll of Anchorage, AK, Michael Hustad of Camas, WA. Seven great grandchildren, Brianna, Dakota, Ashley, Marissa, Zoey, Ethan and Abigail; three step great grandchildren, Lauren, Logan and Brandon; and one great great grandson, Bentley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
