Lloyd Denwood DeShiell, age 95 of Washougal, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2016.
Lloyd was born on May 23, 1920 to his parents Bertha and Forrest DeShiell, in North Plains, Oregon. A Washougal resident since 1936, Lloyd spent his life as a farmer. He was a member of the Washougal Grange, and enjoyed carpentry, fishing & hunting, and old time country music. Most of all, Lloyd loved his family.
Survivors include his son Jim (Linda) DeShiell of Washougal, his daughters Linda (Joe) Blaschka of Bothell, Hazel (Rick) Reude of Washougal, and Mary (Tim) Anderson of Redmond, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his brother Hank and his sister Tillie. He was preceded in death by his wife Mae, his daughter Anna, his sister Lenora, and a grandson, Jody.
A celebration of Lloyd's life will take place at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 6, at NorthLake Church in Camas, with a graveside service to follow at Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Brown's Funeral Home. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.brownsfh.com
