I had Dave do my taxes a couple times years ago, then we became casual friends and would have lunch once in a while. I worked at Heraeus ShinEtsu for a couple years, then got transferred.
Dave was a very caring,gentle man who is greatly missed by his loved ones, I'm sure. My condolences to Dave's family.
