Obituary of Genevie Reed

Genevie Naomi Reed went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2007. Born on September 28, 1928 in Centralia, WA, Genevie was 78 years old. A 40 year Clark County resident, Genevie worked in the food industry until her retirement. She attended Northside Baptist Church and was an avid reader of the Bible. She enjoyed shopping at stores and through the QVC Channel, baking, making friends and reading. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Genevie is survived by her loving husband of 57 years William J. Reed at home, sons William L. Reed of Vancouver, David T. Reed of Vancouver, and Robin E. Reed of Vancouver, daughters Barbara A. Patzer of Wisconsin, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Gerrol B. Reed, and brothers Lawrence and Clearence Reed. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Genevie on Saturday, September 22nd at 1:00 pm at the Camas Assembly of God Church. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
