Michael J. Adair joined his heavenly father on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Northwest Hospital Edmunds, WA. He was born October 13, 1964 in Eugene, OR at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was a graduate of Thurston High School in Springfield, OR Class of 82. After high school Michael began his four years of service to our country in the U.S. Air Force. On August 1, 1987 he married Vickie Shinn in Salem, OR. Michael earned an Associates of Arts Degree from Bellevue Community College. His career choice was Computer Programming. He started his professional career at Boeing. He became an employee of Microsoft. While working for Microsoft he was recruited by Expedia.com where he became the CIO. He was one of the Founding Fathers of Expedia.com. At the age of 40 retirement from Expedia.com became a reality. Michael had a debilitating stroke on March 27, 2008. He had aphasia and was paralyzed on his right side. When he spoke Michael had a very limited vocabulary. He I survived by his parents Mike Adair and Pamela Adair of Camas, his brother James also of Camas, his ex-wife Vickie of Woodinville WA, his son Eric of Woodinville, WA and his daughter Katherine of Cedarville, OH. He is also survived by his aunt Arlene Erickson of Camas, WA and aunt and uncle Bobbie and Gery Gehrman of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other extended family. There will an internment at Fern Prairie Cemetery at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 30, 2016. At 1:00 p.m. there will be a memorial service at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. If you would like, donations may be made in Michael’s name to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA.
