John Colman Raynor passed away November 2, 2016. He was 90 years old.
John was born on May 12, 1926 in Tacoma, Washington to his parents LaVina and Lester Raynor. John was a veteran in the U.S. Navy and served during WWII in the South Pacific on the U.S.S. Tate. John has been a resident of Camas since 1956, and was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church. He graduated with his B.of.A in Accounting from the University of Washington. He was a past Commissioner of the Dolphin Yacht Club, as well as a member of the Camas Lions Club, a Scoutmaster, a former C-W Port Commissioner, and retired from Crown Zellerbach as a supervisor. John also worked as a real estate broker with Columbia River Reality.
Survivors include his 2 sons: David (Kathy) Raynor and James Raynor, his daughter Deborah (Robert) Schuh, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and his brother Henry Hall. John was preceded in death by his wife Daphne, his son Michael, and 2 brothers.
