Coy Gholson passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007 in Camas. Born on June 6, 1925 in Quay, New Mexico to William and Lillie Gholson, Coy was 82 years old.
A World War II Veteran, Coy served in the United States Navy as Machinist's Mate Second Class in the Construction Battalion. A construction worker until his retirement, Coy was a 45 year member of the Local Union 701 of Portland for Operating Engineers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most importantly spending time with his family.
Coy is survived by his loving wife of 60.5 years Patricia at home, daughters Ann Gamble of Camas, Teresa Waterman of Estacada, and Janet Barnes of Vancouver, sisters Bonnie Dunlap of Redmond, Oregon, and Peggy Clark of Cillah, Washington, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
At Coy's request, there will be no public service.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
