Obituary of Julie Ann Newell

Julie Ann (nee Eichstadt) Newell passed away early Saturday morning.

Julie's sparkling, outgoing personality always made her stand out in a crowd, her infectious laughter and sense of humor drawing all who knew her close to their hearts.

Julie's greatest passions in life were music, the great Northwest, living her life with her husband Army Veteran and restauranteur Douglas Newell in beautiful Washougal, Washington, and visiting her family in the Midwest.  Her favorite city was Chicago and her favorite baseball team the Chicago Cubs.  She was thrilled to witness their World Series victory in 2016.

Celebrating her memory are her husband Doug Newell and his family,  mother-in-law Frances Newell, brother-in-law Gary Newell, brother-in-law David Newell and his wife Kim, sister-in-law Susan Damon and her husband Terry, mother Jerrie Comstock, her father Willis Eichstadt, brother Jay Eichstadt and his wife Courtney, sister Kitty Comstock, sister Kathi Scales and her husband John, sister Sherrie Rathje and her husband Paul.

Visitation will be at Brown's Funeral Home (410 NE Garfield St) in Camas, Washington from 2-5 pm Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
