Dearest Jess and family, I was deeply saddened to recently learn of Kathy's death. I knew Kathy for over 40 yrs and though we lost touch over time, I always considered her a dear, dear friend. I remember Kathy as a fun loving, smart, hard worker who LOVED playing sports; and she was good! She was respected by those who new her and was a friend to all. But her greatest love was her daughter Jess. You could feel the pride and joy she had for Jess in every conversation. Jess made Kathy's life complete. It's still difficult for me to believe this vibrant, determined, sometimes stubborn firecracker is gone. She is missed but will always be fondly remembered. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
