Obituary of Leonard Conley Lamproe

Leonard Conley Lamproe passed away on May 23, 2018. He was 83 years old.

Leonard was born on February 5, 1935 to his parents Sadie and James Lamproe in Chester, Arkansas. Leonard was a veteran in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a machine adjuster at Cupples Paper Bag Factory in LaMirada, California. Leonard has been a resident of Camas since 2007, and belonged to the Church of Christ of Brush Prairie. 

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Jean at home; his son James (wife Tracy) Lamproe of Sandy, OR; his two daughters: Beverly Hudson of Washogual, and Cathy (husband Jakko) Haggblom of Camas; 5 grandchildren; his three brothers: Edward Lamproe, Lonnie Lamproe and Floyd Lamproe; as well as his two sisters: Dorothy Slusher and Susie Harris.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

A private family burial will take place at Fern Prarire Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place at the Church of Christ of Brush Prairie at a time TBD. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.brownsfh.com
