Obituary of Rachel Elizabeth Berten

Rachel Elizabeth Berten, aged 54 of Washougal, passed away on November 5, 2018.

Rachel was born on May 2, 1964 to her parents Josepha May and William Reese in Eugene, Oregon. A 15 year Washogual resident, Rachel worked several jobs, but her passion was working with children through teaching and counseling. Rachel was extraordinarily friendly and kindhearted, she loved her kids to death no matter what, she enjoyed the beauty of the northwest on scenic drives up the gorge and rock-hounded the whole U.S. Rachel loved music, especially Fleetwood Mac. 

She is survived by her Husband Shawn Berten, her sons Dylan, Zack and Blake, and daughter Bailey; as well as numerous relatives, friends and loved ones. 

A celebration of Rachel's life will take place at a time to be determined. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home.
