Obituary of Ben L. Franklin

Ben L. Franklin, born March 30, 1943 to Richard and Mollena Strunk Franklin in Camas Washington, went to be with his Lord on January 18, 2019 after a hard fought battle against cancer. He was 75 years old.
Ben was a lifelong Camas resident. He started work at Crown Zellerbach and retired from BBA Non-Woven in 2005. Most of all he loved his Lord, but also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, as well as watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. He traveled over 20 times to overseas countries on mission trips,as well as projects in the United States.
Ben is survived by his wife Donna who he married February 15, 1969; his sons Dave and Brian (Rhonda), his grandsons Cayden and Blayne, and his granddaughter Brynlee, his brothers Jim (Roberta) and Don (Kathy) as well as his uncle, aunt, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a private interment at Fern Prairie Cemetery. A celebration of Life service will take place Saturday, January 26 2019, 11 AM at Church at Proebstel - 18702 NE Fourth Plain Road, Vancouver Washington.
