Thomas E. Gentry, 97, passed away at home with family on Oct. 14, 2012. Born on the family homestead east of Fisher's Landing on Feb. 24, 1915, to Everett and Mary Gentry. Thomas was a lifelong resident of the area, residing only 500 feet from his birthplace. Thomas was a WWII Coast Guard veteran, a longstanding member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Dolphin Yacht Club, retired Crown Zellerbach employee and owner/operator of Gentry's Landing. Survived by daughters Marilyn Eggison and Susan (Jim) Speights, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Christina, two infant sons and three brothers. A Celebration of Life Service will be Sat. Oct. 20th at 11AM at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Interment will be at the Fishers Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington
