Lynn and I only corresponded via Ancestry.com and e-mail. We were 3rd cousins sharing and researching our great grandfathers who immigrated from Sweden.
His was Adolph Fredrik "Fred" (Hilding) Nelson (Nilsson) born 14 May 1845, Askeby, Östergötland, Sweden.
Died 04 May 1916,Oakdale, Stanislaus, California
And mine Frans (Frank) August (Hilding) Lundell born 17 Aug 1848, Askeby, Östergötland, Sweden
Died 14 Apr 1932 • Heppner, Morrow, Oregon
Lynn granted me the task of carrying on our Swedish family research.
Thank you Lynn and Carol. Blessings to you both.

My late husband Rasjad worked with Carol in Pediatrics in Cascade Park. Lyndon and Rasjad shared a love of antique tools and woodworking. That’s how they became friends. I remember him as someone who was generous with his time and very easy going and fun.
He will be missed.

I worked with Lynn during our early careers while I was a test engineer in the BPA Division of Laboratories. We also took one or more graduate engineering classes together at the U of P as I recall.
He was a good friend and though we have lost touch in recent years I remember him fondly.

I worked with Lynn years ago in the Instrumentation Lab. He is one of the kindest, decent men I have ever known.
Your memories I am sure are wonderful ones - except the last few years (I read the article in The Columbian, too).
Condolences and Bless you,
JoAnne Sutton
