Obituary of Joe Virgil Plantz

Joe Virgil Plantz untimely passing occurred October 4th 2019. He was 66 years old.

Born in 1953 in Mississippi to James and Hattie Plantz, and he grew up with 8 other siblings, so there was never a dull moment. After high school, Joe was employed working on airplanes as his career, which was very fulfilling. He went on to marry his love, Karen, and have 4 children of their own.

Joe leaves behind his wife, Karen, at home in Camas, WA; son Michael (Erica) Hanlon in Vancouver; daughters Jen (Ean) Hanlon of Portland, OR; Emily Plantz – Vancouver, and Annie Plantz of Camas; also his brothers Sonny and James, both of Fresno, CA, and Roy Plantz out of Eugene, OR; sisters Hattie Watkins from Yakima, WA; Evelyn Campell of Lamar, AK, and Penny Beard from Indianola, MS. Joe also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded om death by his parents and 2 brothers.
