Francis "Frank" Carroll Palmquist passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in Vancouver. Born on May 24, 1944 in Lakewood, California, Frank was 63 years old. A Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Frank was also a former member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters UA Local 290 for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, barbecuing, visiting Hawaii, snorkeling, dancing and listening to blues music, playing games of chance (poker, lotto, and marbles), spending time with his grandchildren and cruising in his 1984 red corvette. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Mary at home, son Christopher (Julie) Palmquist of Vancouver, daughter Julie (Bryce) Sherell of Camas, brother Alvin "Bud" Palmquist of Anaheim, CA, sisters Sherry Lewis and Diane Palmquist both of Huntington Beach, CA, and grandchildren Collin and Jaymeson Sherell and Joshua and Ryan Palmquist. There will be a Celebration of Frank's Life with Military Honors on Saturday, December 8th at 1:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. A reception will follow at Zion Lutheran Church. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
