Rajappa was born on November 10, 1942 to his parents Maliah Hagalwadi and Paramma Maliah in Hagalwadi, India. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Financial Profession and worked as an Accountant.
Rajappa is survived by his wife, Prema Rajappa at home; sons, Manjunath Rajappa of India, Mahesh Bagal of Camas, Washington; daughter, Bharathi Rajappa of Camas, Washington; one brother, two daughter-in-laws and 3 grandchildren.
Rajappa was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
