Obituary of Robert Charles Fountain

Robert "Bob" Charles Fountain, 63, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020. He was a Camas-Washougal resident for over 30 years. Bob was born to Robert Donald and Mildred Alice (Bailey) Fountain on May 12, 1957 in Silverton, Oregon. Bob met and married Nancy Fountain on July 25, 1987 in Mollala, Oregon. They resided in Washougal, Washington for thirty-three years. Bob owned Camas Transmission for 18 years and was a former employee at Hi Way Fuel in Washougal, Washington. He was a supporter of the Eagles Aerie in Washougal, Washington, the local Veteran Affairs programs. He enjoyed helping his neighbors and considered everyone his neighbor, golfing, boating, he especially loved his family. Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy Fountain at home; daughters, Melissa (Alan) Weisenbach of Washougal, Washington, Shonda (Blaze) Wahlert of Levington, Kentucky, Melinda (David Anderson) Miller of Washougal, Washington; son, Cliff (Cary) Miller of Camas, Washington; sister, Mary Glenn of Pendleton, Oregon; several grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D Fountain and Smokey & Mildred Robinson; his brother, Wayne Fountain, his sister Linda Ryan and a grandson. Per the family a service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Washougal Eagles Aerie to support their efforts for the VA Hospital in Vancouver, Washington.
