Denver Overlee Wear passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Vancouver, Washington. He was 88. He was a Clark County resident for many years.
Denver was born on September 9, 1932 to Dewey Roosevelt and Minnie Belle(Camp) Wear in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He worked in the Electrical Industry as an Electrician. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church & Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign War in Arizona, District Commissioner of the Boy Scouts in Coos Bay, Oregon, former member of the Jay Cees of Coos Bay, Oregon, former member of 4-H Club.
Denver is survived by his wife, Dorothy at home; daughter, Deanna (Gary) Pehrson of Vancouver, Washington; sons, Donald Glynn Wear of Boring, Oregon, Daniel Lee Wear of Boring, Oregon, Daniel Lee Wear of Washougal, Washington, David Bill Wear of Snohomish, Washington; brother, Roger Carroll Wear of Willits, California; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Denver is preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 1 sister.
A Rosary will be at held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver, Washington.
