Obituary of Edna Earl Thomas

Edna E. [Lucas] Thomas, 90, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2020, in Vancouver, Washington. Funeral service will be held graveside at Camas Cemetery located at 630 NE Oak St, Camas, Washington, on Monday, October 12, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dean Clarkson of Amazing Grace Baptist Church officiating. The funeral recession will meet in the parking lot in their cars/trucks at Brown’s Funeral home, who will be handling the funeral arrangements. Edna was born in Sylacauga, Alabama, to Johnnie Oliver [Cooper] Lucas and John Devon L. Lucas on December 19, 1929. She worked as a bookkeeper up until 2003 when she moved to Vancouver, Washington, to retire and be with family. Edna is survived by her Granddaughter Deborah L. Hartsoch of Vancouver, Washington, Grandson Glen William Hartsoch, of Naugatuck, West Virginia, Bo M. Scarbrough of Shelbyville, Texas, six great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and 4 nieces. Edna enjoyed her cats, feeding the wild life, working crosswords, and her bible studies as well as donating to varies charities.
