Obituary of Soropepeli Colata

Soropepeli Colata passed away surrounded by family and love on Monday, November 23, 2020 in Washougal, Washington at the age of 73. Soropepeli was born on February 15, 1947 in Soso, Kadavu, Fiji Islands to his parents, Apisai and Tarusila (Marama) Loganimoce. He worked in the Government Industry as a Laborer and Tradesman. Soropepeli was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Washougal River Ward. He was Chairman of the PTA Family Schools in the Fiji, Islands. He was a Governing Board Member at the High School in the Fiji, Islands. He was also involved in the Missionary Work in the Island of Kadavu, Fiji, Islands. He was a Country Co-Ordinator of Humanitarian for Youth in the Fiji, Islands. Soropepeli is survived by his wife, Seraseini Colata at home; sons, Solomoni Vere of Santa Rosa, California, Colata Loganimoce of Washougal, Washington, Jona Colata of London, England, Josaia Colata of Orem, Utah; daughter, Seraseini Colata of Suva, Fiji Islands; brother, Osea Serukaisoso of Suva, Fiji Islands; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Soropepeli was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Losalini Colata, Tarusila Marama; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Do to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) a service by Invitation only will be held at Brown's Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington.
