Obituary of Donna Lucile Strain

Donna Lucile Strain, 89, a resident of Vancouver, Washington for the past 14 years, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021. She was born on October 13, 1931 in Spokane, Washington to her parents Earl Gordon Dunlap and H. Phyllis Duffey. Prior in living in Vancouver, Donna was a Camas, Washington resident for 70 years. She worked in the Paper Mill Industry as an Engineering Assistant and later retired from James River Corporation (formerly Crown Zellerbach). She was a Honorary Member of Orchard Hills Golf & Country Club. In her free time she enjoyed playing golf, walking, jazzercising and spending time with her family. Donna is survived by her sons; Joseph (Cindi) Strain of Dallas, Texas, Richard (Christy) Strain of Star, Idaho; daughter, Karen Quigley of Vancouver, Washington; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; 2 brothers. Per the family a Private Family Graveside will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 1 o'clock pm at the Camas Cemetery. The celebration will be after the service at Feast 316. It starts at 2.30. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington.
