Carl Shawn McKowan, aged 53, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Vancouver, Washington. He lived the past 4 months in Ridgefield, Washington but was formally from Washougal, Washington. Carl was born on February 17, 1968 in Walnut Creek, California to his parents, Carl E. McKowan and Margaret M. Peck. He worked in the Food Industry in Retail Sales. He attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and belonged to Delta Chi at Washington State University. Carl is survived by his son, Aidan McKowan of Ridgefield, Washington; brother, Darren McKowan of Ridgefield, Washington; nephew, Mitchell McKowan of Vancouver, Washington. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; son, Samuel. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 am at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington.
