Catherine Runells, of Washougal WA, passed away on September 2, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
Catherine was born in Riverside, CA. Her parents were Russell P Carter and Grace Ashton Carter. Both proceeded her in death.
Catherine worked for many years as an elementary school secretary. Being around the children always brought her joy. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and tending to her roses and dahlias.
Catherine is survived by her husband of 56 years, William; daughter Maelynn (Bob) Anderson of Vancouver, WA; son William (Shawna) Runells Jr of Sandy OR; and 5 grandchildren: Reggie, Wesley, Ashley, Alyssa and Jacob.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
