Obituary of Kristin Berger

Kristin Berger returned home on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Born on December 15, 1959 in Dimmitt, Texas to Edward Arlie and Rosa Rio Grande (Harrison) Coker; Kristin was 51 years old. A lifetime Camas-Washougal resident, Kristin was a graduate of Hudson's Bay High School in Vancouver. She was an avid volunteer having recently volunteered for Southwest Washington Medical Center. Raising her son Dennis was one of her greatest joys, and volunteered her time with his Boy Scout and Cub Scout activities . Her kind heart and willingness to help out her friends and family will be greatly missed. Kristin is survived by the love of her life of twenty-five years Donald Berger at home; son Dennis Berger at home; grandmother Winifred Trytek of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters Irene (Eldon) Wagner of Camas, Pam (Mike) Jensen of Washougal, and Deana Yoakum (Jason Roth) of Battle Ground; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Darlene and Don Berger of Ilwaco, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Rio Grande Yoakum; father Edward Arlie Coker; step-father Darrell Yoakum; and nephew Eugene Haines III. There will be a celebration of Kristin's life on Saturday, November 26th at 11:30 am at Brown's Funeral Home: 410 NE Garfield St. Camas, WA 98607. Private interment will be held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
