Obituary of Vance Lee Christensen

With much sorrow and love, the family of Vance L. Christensen, of Camas, WA, announces his passing on November 11, 2021 at the age of 71.
Vance was born on May 23, 1950 in Vallejo, California to Calvin H. and B. Lavon Anderson Christensen. His family moved to Utah when he was six years old. He graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended the University of Utah. Vance was a member of the Utah Air National Guard for 11 years.
He married Linda Anderson in January of 1971, later divorced, and married Tonya Paulson in September 2013, later divorced. Vance will be remembered by his three children: Sally (Clint), Ryan (Megan), and David (Melina); grandchildren: Garrett, Colton, Tyler, Shelby, and Jaden; and several nieces and nephews. Vance was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Ronald and Rick, and his sister: Vicki.
Vance moved with his family to Federal Way, Washington in 1990 and later moved to Vancouver, Washington in 2011. He spent his career as a sales and manufacturers representative for the electrical industry. In his retirement, he made new friends of all ages driving a school bus for the Evergreen School District. Throughout his life, he enjoyed working on old cars and going to classic car shows as well as golfing, boating and socializing with friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
The family is planning celebration of life services with a date to be announced.
