Obituary of David Charles Boggs

Mr. David Charles Boggs, 83, passed away peacefully at his home under the loving care of his family Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, in Washougal, WA. He was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Iowa to Herb and Edna Boggs and was proceeded in death by his wife, Ethel Boggs. David worked in many different mechanical engineering fields, and retired from Fiberweb Washougal Inc. David is survived by a daughter and three sons; Chris Lynne Onchi, Royal Everett Boggs, Tyrell Powers Boggs, and David Edward Boggs; son-in-law and two daughter-in-laws; Harvey Onchi, Emorgelia Boggs, Patricia Boggs; Two stepdaughters and one stepson; Wendy Elizabeth Whitt, Julie Anne Hartel, William Edward (Web) Burns; Two step son-in-laws and one stepdaughter in-law; Bradley Hartel, Matt Whitt, April Burns; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He leaves many other family members and friends who will deeply miss him. David was a Mechanical Engineer by trade and an engineer at heart. He was known for his dry sense of humor and enjoyed many hobbies including radio controlled airplane building and flying, private airplane flying, clock building, military arms collecting, woodworking, and electronics. David was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Washougal. A private Celebration of Life will be held in Washougal.
