Just learned of Jim's passing. I worked with Jim on Kwajalein Island (USAKA) for several years. He was my direct evaluator and one of the best guys you could hope to have as your Gov POC. He would do anything to help you get the mission done and always thought outside the box. I learned never to underestimate his abilities to get things done. He played a very important part in supporting the USAKA Command. I took several TDY trips with him to TACOM in order to plead our case for new equipment as the Automotive Manager for DynCorp. I asked him why we were going back during the dead of winter only to learn that he used the snow in michigan to help get us equipment on the island. He would ask for an assistance visit by the people in TACOM (in the middle of winter) and soon enough after their visit to Kwaj and their snorkeling and diving trips were complete, the equipment would start showing up on the Matson barges. He was one of the most innovative, hard working guy and did a lot to help me in my career as one of the youngest managers on the island. To his son Jim, I am so sorry for your loss, your Dad was a great man and truly served his country during and after his military career. I will always remember your Dad fondly. Mr. Bramblett you will be missed. Mike & Teresa Bray San Antonio Texas

I remember Jim from when he worked with my dad near Beer Sheva. Jim became more than somebody my dad worked with; he was considered a friend. He was present when my dad needed someone to rely upon, there to laugh and enjoy life with. He'll be remembered for his generosity and friendship.
