Obituary of Nadine Havener

Nadine C. Havener died Nov. 17, 2011, in Camas. She was 87.
She was born June 1, 1924, in Gordon, Neb. She lived in Camas for 44 years, and was a retired business owner and also worked in sales and volunteered. She was a member of Camas United Methodist Church, and of Order of the Easter Star and Daughters of the Nile. She was installed as "Worthy Matron" for Eastern Star in 1993.
She is survived by her children, Virgil Havener of California, Jerry and Linda Havener of Newberg, Ore., Patrick and Laurie Havener of Camas, Ginger Havener of Camas, Jeanne (Sinclair) and Pat Howard of Oregon City, Ore., and Bonnie Havener of Camas; two sisters, Bernice Closson and Lois Jean Millard; brother, Dale Gardner; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., at the Masonic Temple, 888 17th St., in Washougal.
