Jacob "Jack" Phillip Eliuk peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 08, 2008 in Washougal. Born on October 23, 1924 in North Port, Washington, Jack was 83 years old.
A 57 year Washougal resident, Jack worked as an accountant and retired from the Tidland Corporation in Camas. He was a 35 year member of Bethel Community Church in Washougal, a member of the Toastmaster's Group, and a Veteran of the US Navy during WWII. He enjoyed deer and elk hunting, visiting state and national parks, camping, woodcutting, and playing cribbage.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Lois at home, sons Robert Eliuk, James Eliuk, and Kenneth Eliuk, daughter Victoria Colpron, sister Sally Dunker, eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Ann Clark and Stephanie Post, and granddaughter Michelle Colpron.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Jack on Saturday, January 12th at 11:00 am at Bethel Community Church in Washougal: 1438 B St. Memorials in Jack's honor may be sent to Bethel Community Church. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
