Obituary of Daniel Scott Alcorn
Please share a memory of Daniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Daniel Scott Alcorn, a.k.a. Dan the Man, completed his earthly journey at 4:22 pm on Mar 31st, 2024, Resurrection Day Sunday, in Camas, Washington.
He was born December 8th, 1963, in DeKalb Illinois. As his body deteriorated, his willingness to see Jesus outweighed his desire to stay with us or even eat. It was time for his constant pain to be transformed into ecstatic joy of hearing music and seeing colors of Heaven. Not quite dying of natural causes, but for the supernatural cause of God taking him to experience a new life.
You will be dearly missed and are so loved, Danny.
Danny worked at T.J. Maxx for over 5 years as a courteous, loyal, and conscientious worker and considered that a great adventure. He loves trains, go fishing with Ed, or just watch the planes take off. He loved his cousin Darryl winning almost every car race and spending time with family in Michigan. And joke around with Cousin Debbie from Washington.
If you ever met Danny, you liked him. He always had a positive attitude. He loved adventure more than his body would allow.
Danny was survived by his sister Bonita Dehler, brother Daron Alcorn, and Parents Joseph & JoAnn Alcorn. He liked joking around with his nephews & nieces Erika, Ben, Amanda, Janet, Christian, and Grant. He was a good uncle/ great uncle to Draeson, Phebe, Alex, Jon Jon, and shared lots of laughs. Danny was deaf but would sure get a kick out of your sneezing.
His favorite game was Monopoly or any board game with money or an auction aspect as he would jack you up!
He loved watching children sign to Jesus' songs and was quite the worshiper himself. He never complained about the music being too loud and loved a big bass boom.
Greeting people at church was his passion; A kiss on the cheek for the elderly ladies and bringing it in for a fist shake for the bros.
He was an intensely caring person. God used him in different ways to bring people closer to Jesus. He was very in-tune to the Spirit and would share some very supernatural things such as hearing heavenly music, ascending to Heaven, appearing in other people’s dreams, and giving a word of knowledge. He loved to watch Benny Hinn and
Apostle David E. Taylor as God healed people out of their wheelchairs. He loved to sing with Sandy Patty Christian artist in his room watching her concerts, and southern gospel contemporary music
The Gaither vocal band. Danny had a full life with family and friends from playing board games to singing karaoke with family and friends to talking about Jesus our Savior and loving all people.
