Obituary of Deanna Shefchek

Deanna Lenore Shefchek died February 21, 2013 with her family at her side. She was born in Camas, WA May 23, 1938 to Guy and Marie Tennant. She lived in the Vancouver-Washougal area for most of her life. Mom was a lovely person with a great laugh. Her family was the most important thing to her, followed closely by her church family. She loved car trips, the Oregon Coast, puzzles and reading. Deanna spent her life caring for other. now she can just relax and let Jesus take care of her. Her husband James and daughter Karen were waiting for her to come home. Surviving family members are Daughters Robin Curry, Deborah Bray (Larry), Teresa Berry (Jim), Anita Alexander (Scott); Sons James and Andrew Shefchek; Grandchildren Jorda and Julian Curry; Mike (Sheri), Aaron (Tiffany) and Ben Bray; Mandy Rager (Paul), Allen Schefchek; Great -grandchildren Bailey and baby boy Bray due in April; Roxy Bray and Logan Buffington; Nicole, Stephanie, Paul III and aurora Rager; Olivia Matteo; Sisters Carol Williams (Hank) and Judy Branstetter (Carl) and a large extended family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 28, at 3:00pm at St. Matthew Lutheran Church on Washougal River Road, Washougal, WA.
