Obituary of Helen Barclay

Helen Mary ( Barclay) Cervenka passed away on November 19, 2012 , at the age of 93. She was born on March 8,1919 in Lewistown Montana to her parents Charles James and Nellie Margaret Barclay. She grew up in Lewistown Montana, and also spent time in Salt Lake City, Utah and Seattle, Washington. Later in life she enjoyed writing poetry, painting, working at the Tallmadge Hamilton House in Seattle and spending time with her family and many friends and co-workers. She was a Camas resident for 10 years and resided at the Prestige Care Center. Her life long commitment to helping others was evident in her work in many associations and involvement in her church and other civic activities. All those that knew her would immediately recognize her willingness to help and come to know her warm and loving character. She is survived by her daughters Beth Balch of Washington, Margaret Keppler of Oregon, Helen Kreutzer of Utah and sons Eugene Cervenka of Utah and Robert Cervenka of Idaho, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Also her brother Charles Barclay II of California and sister Betty O'Donnell of Montana. Helen was proceeded in death by her daughter Donna Barrett. There will be a Celebration of Life service held in her honor on March 29, 2013 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at the St John's Presbyterian Church in Camas Washington.
